Buy an iPad or..

I am still very skeptical on buying an iPad, I think once they add multitasking that would be the thing to have me sold.

I really need opinions of people other than it’s a toy. Why do you love your iPad? what makes it loveable? How is it?

Say you’re sitting in bed browsing sites and you receive an IM/ tweet/ IRC? is switching as simple as a computer? I am but moment from clicking the buy button on the apple website.. So help me out here?
